Lawrence Chai, Invited Speaker for 15th Annual Malaysian Tax Conference
Partner of 3E Accounting Malaysia, Lawrence Chai was invited as one of the speaker in the 15th Annual Malaysian Tax Conference, dated 7th to 9th November 2016 at Cititel Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.
The three days event, 15th Annual Malaysian Tax Conference, is made up of conferences and workshop tracks designed to provide participants with updates on tax treaty, transfer pricing developments and more that are relevant to their day-to-day tasks and scope. The conference covers, through a combination of formal presentations, latest case law presentation and panel discussions, as well as workshops.
Together with other well-known speakers such as Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani (Finance Minister II), Datuk D.P. Naban, Datuk Harjit Singh Sidhu, Robert Tsang (Deloitte), Sockalingam Murungesan (Ernst & Young) and more, it was indeed a great honor for Lawrence to be invited as one of the conference speakers.
Based on the direction for this year Annual Malaysian Tax Conference, which is to navigate the changing tax environment, Lawrence shared on the latest developments of indirect tax. As a qualified GST agent in both Singapore and Malaysia, Lawrence has also shared about his experience and knowledge on one of the hottest topic in Malaysia, which is GST.
